Pliers for Plastic Snaps
IMPORTANT: Parts on pliers do require changing before pliers will work properly. Please read our tutorial here before using your pliers, and always practice on scrap fabric first!
These pliers are not made by the KAM company. Dies for pliers are not the same as dies for presses. These lightweight pliers can apply most plastic snaps, but cannot be used for metal snaps. They have a smaller clearance for fabric so could not be used for very thick fabric or to apply snaps far from the fabric edge. The pliers would be sufficient for baby diapers or similar projects.
Our pliers work with the following available plastic snaps:
- size 14 long prong (but not standard)
- size 16 standard & long prong*
- size 20 standard & long prong*
- size 24 standard
* The fit between the dies for long-prong size 16 and 20 snaps will be tighter so you may find them more cumbersome to apply.

Snap Count
Snaps are packaged by weight, so count may not be exact. Also, if you order multiples of a color, we may combine the sets. For example, if you purchase two bags of 100-count studs, we may send you one bag of 200 studs.
Snap Colors
Due to imperfect and natural variations in lighting as well as individual settings of your computer screen, snap colors shown on our website may not be a true reflection of their actual color. If you are unsure of a color, please feel free to inquire. Or you can purchase a color card or snap sample here.
Color Cards
Color cards may be folded in half and may arrive slightly crinkled, dog-eared, etc during shipping to us or shipping to you. This will not affect their use.
