If you're new to snaps and not sure where to start, what snap sizes you need, or whether pliers or a press would work best for you, click on the Getting Started link on the top menu bar.
This bundle includes everything you need to get started:
- Pliers for plastic snaps ("HG" model). Instructions are available online only and can be found here.
- 1,000 complete sets of size 20 glossy plastic snaps. 100 sets in 10 colors of your choice. Each complete snap set includes 2 caps, 1 socket, and 1 stud. Colors can be viewed on our KAMsnaps Colors page.
- Cap dies for applying sizes 16 and 20 snaps
- Top metal bolt for size 20 and smaller snaps
- Screwdriver
- 2nd quality awl. Awls are used for poking holes in your fabric for easier snap placement. 2nd quality awls may have minor cosmetic blemishes such as rusting. Upgrade to a 1st quality awl for just $1 (70% off regular price).
- Add a size 14 cap die or star cap die for $1 each. Please note that size 24 snaps cannot be applied with the pliers since there is no die for that size. You will need a snap press if you wish to apply size 24 snaps.
- Add a color card showing all 60 basic KAM colors in your choice of matte caps ($5) or glossy caps ($6), subject to availability.
Note:
Snap Count
Snaps are packaged by weight, so count may not be exact. Also, if you order multiples of a color, we may combine the sets. For example, if you purchase two bags of 100-count studs, we may send you one bag of 200 studs.
Snap Colors
Due to imperfect and natural variations in lighting as well as individual settings of your computer screen, snap colors shown on our website may not be a true reflection of their actual color. If you are unsure of a color, please feel free to inquire. Or you can purchase a color card or snap sample here. Colors may vary minutely between production batches. The variation generally is not noticeable when comparing a single snap but may be noticeable when comparing a large quantity.
