Heart caps use the same die as size 20 round caps.  When installing heart caps with a professional snap press, you may need to use less pressure than you normally do to avoid cracking.

 

Heart caps can be used with various size sockets and studs. They are most commonly used with size 20 sockets and studs, but you can also use them with size 16/14 or size 22 sockets and studs.  We offer complete heart sets using size 20 sockets & studs below.

 

Heart snaps are available in the following sets:

  • Caps Only ($3.50) - 100 heart caps in a single color.
  • Complete Sets ($6.75) - 100 complete sets in a single color. This includes 100 heart caps, 100 round caps, 100 studs, and 100 sockets, all in the same color.

I love my heart and star snaps! They are super cute on a finished project. The one thing I wish is that the prong was the same length as the other caps. Them being shorter makes them a bit harder to use.

LOVE the heart snaps. It is correct that they fit greatly in the size 20 snap die! I love that I don't need a new die to use them, and I use them often to add appeal to things I make for my daughter. I don't only use them for snap-items. I also use them to embellish pairs of shorts or shirts for my daughter to entice her into wearing them!!

I just received my hearts & starts snaps order (in 2!!! days) and even my macho son thinks the stars would be neat on his stuff. I really like the availability of these shapes. I love the look the shapes give to clothing-it ramps it up from "Oh. A snap. How exciting." to "Hey! That's cool! That star is a SNAP!" So neat :)

I haven't found the perfect place to use my funky little trolls on yet. The prong is slightly shorter than the regular round caps - so I have to make sure that will not affect my diapers. The trolls are LARGE compared to a size 20 round and some of the edges are rather pointy - so I will have to find just the right project for them.

I have both the star snaps in a variety of colors and the heart snaps in white! There isn't a project I've done that these snaps haven't gone well with! I use them with my DK-98 press and the size 20 dies and it's a great combo!
