Compatibility Disclaimer: Our snaps are intended to be applied using the dies and presses we carry, so we do not recommend trying to apply them with any other tool as we cannot guarantee proper results. Metal snaps cannot be applied using our pliers for plastic snaps.We also do not recommend mixing our metal snaps with similar-looking snaps purchased elsewhere because they may not be completely compatible. Please note that snaps from different manufacturing batches may have minor variations in size and fit.
Snaps are sold by the set of 100. A partial set consists of 100 caps, 100 sockets, 100 studs, or 100 posts. A complete set consists of 100 of all 4 components necessary to make a complete snap set.
Corresponding die sets can also be added. The open-ring grip snaps use a 3-pc die set priced at $28. The fashion and utility spring snaps use a 4-pc die set for $38.

Our metal snaps are made of copper and finished in silver nickel, antique black, or painted in various colors. Compared to other metal snaps, the grip on our snaps would be about medium-duty.
Each size and style of metal snaps requires its own set of press dies, which you can add by selecting the option from the drop-down menu above or from our Dies section. If using the drop-down menu above, the number of dies added will equal the Qty specified, so if you only need 1 die, be sure the Qty is set to 1. You must specify the press model you have so we can send the appropriate dies.
Utility spring snaps have the firmest hold when snapped closed, followed by fashion spring, then grip snaps.
Because our inventory is constantly changing at any given moment, not all snaps shown below may be in stock at the time of order processing. You will be notified as soon as possible if such is the case.

NOTE:
Metal Snaps
Different batches of snaps may have very slight variances in appearance. This will not be noticeable unless closely inspected and should not affect functionality if applied properly using the proper tools.
Dies
Dies for metal snaps will have traces of oil, rust, and general "goo" from the manufacturing process and may not look "pretty". This is how they come to us, and we have no control over it. We recommend you wipe them down prior to use as well as attach a few snaps on discard fabric to clean the dies out. Dies can be lightly oiled to prevent rusting.
